This is the very first sushi place I have been to in the east coast and I must say, I really enjoy the food and service. The staff is very friendly, caring and respectful specially when it comes down to food allergies. I love the sushi and the combos that they have. I have been there only for lunch so far but it was soo good. The pricing is average but the quality, taste and uniqueness is awesome. I so would come here again and would most definitely recommend this place.
Today I visited this restaurant with a friend. Overall my experience was very polar opposites depending on the category. For the food, it was really good and me and my friend ordered many different things. We will be trying the spicy crab pizza later today which hopefully tastes as good as it looks. When it came to the service, utterly terrible. One of the servers was working hard, we unfortunately had the other one that wasnt putting any effort into pleasing her customers. Here are a few examples: Anytime we would say thank you for something, she would walk away without saying a word. No smiles. Never came down to see how we were doing, left us with our dirty plates for a long time and didnt even bother clearing them until after we had left. Overall food was very good and the restaurant was clean, but the service was a huge let down.
The staff is friendly, however, had to wait more than 40 min and the food still wasnt ready by the time I decided to leave. While I was watching nearby tables getting served and finishing their food while Im sitting in the middle of the restaurant completely abundant, I knew theres something better out there for me...So I got up and left. Went and grabbed an AMAZING Abbeys bowl just few steps to the right.Highly recommend!
Went for the lunch, the lunch menu was ok for the value. We also tried a special roll (soy potato roll). The presentation was amazing, however the sauce tasted like honey mustard. It feels that they are reinventing sushi with modern flavors, it did not work for me and my husband.
I'd rate this place 5 for Lunch, 4 for Dinner. The Lunch specials are a great price and the chef is fantastic. The wait staff is wonderful as well. Everything is served quickly with a smile.Dinner is still a nice experience, but it get a little pricey for the amount you get. It is definitely good quality, but it feels like you've overspent after Dinner.
