I had moved out of New Brunswick for about a year, and a half, I moved back to my home City of Fredericton in 2011, and then moved into the old apartment at 333 Cliffe Street.I contacted Smart Movers to do the moving job. They came, and packed all of my furniture, and other belongings, they packed everything securely,and moved everything in one trip.They were extremely professional, and Courteous, and they evening set every thing up for me at my new apartment. The price, I was charged, was more then fair, and I would highly recommend them to all of my family, and friends.

I hired Smart Movers to move me from Fredericton to Halifax. The prices were fantastic and the guys that moved me were awesome and efficient. However, dealing with Jeff the manager was a bit frustrating. I was booked to move on a holiday and when I asked if that would be a problem he said it was fine. He informed me a few days before my moving date that they are closed for the holiday. No apology. No recognition that it was his mistake. There were other people going with me on my move to Halifax, so it disrupted their schedules as well as my own. We ended up moving the following day and it did end up working out in the end. I was able to rearrange electric and internet hookups but it was an inconvencince that could have been avoided with proper communication.
We had an excellent experience with this company. Their price was competitive with others but one thing that attracted us was most of the same crew that packed and loaded our goods were the same people who unloaded and helped us move into the new residence. Our move happened very quickly and Jeff and his team did their best to accommodate us. We have a few family heirlooms and these were packaged very carefully with no breakage. Chris and Louis were great getting us moved and unloaded even though it had been an exhausting day for them. The only thing I might mention was that they arrived a little too early but it's much easier to deal with this as a non event rather than our stuff arriving late. We think this was one of the advantageous of having the same crew load and unload your stuff. Ours was a long distance move and covered 2 of Canada's biggest provinces ... in total 1950 kilometers.
Me and my family had a terrible experience with the owner of this company, Jeff. The people who works for him are wonderful but not him. He came over to our house twice and exactly saw what we had in the house and gave us the price. He did not show up on the delivery date and after everything was loaded he claimed that we had more than what he expected... one day before the delivery date he asked us to pay almost 750$ extra which we did not agree on and he started swearing over the phone and on top of that WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION he used the same credit card we paid the first deposit and took money out of our credit card TWICE, once for the full amount and the second time for that extra 750$ even though i specifically mention over the phone that he can not use that credit card. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION to him because he goes ahead and takes money out of it without your permission.
