Shopping for a mattress is a task I have been struggling with and dreading. I've been to other furniture /mattress stores in the area and left annoyed and unsatisfied. But I had 1 more store I hadn't been simply because I was turned off by the parking lot. However once I entered the store it was nice.. beyond my expectations actually. It was very welcoming... well showcased and decorated. I was greeted by a down to earth professional everyday gentlemen. He listened to my needs and my concerns. He was genuine in his demeanor and I feel that he actually cared about my mattress purchase needs. It took the time and was patient and allowed me to try several products. He was very knowledgeable and I was extremely impressed by the service. I left with a new NB made product... a home grown company much like hotchkiss is. Overall I would rate my experience and shopping experience as excellent. I would recommend anyone to stop in for a great homey shopping experience.
No frills review: bought a bedroom and couch set with coffee tables. Staff went out of their way to cater to our every requests. They set up a Saturday delivery without any problems. One little scratch on one of the dresser, repaired expertly. I had to prompt them to have our sofa set delivered and they made it happen quickly. Overall, very satisfying experience. We will be returning for future purchases and will be recommending this store.
Wonderful Experience!The people at Hotchkiss are very friendly and knowledgeable.We were purchasing our first living room set, so we had many questions and took our sweet time. Between Abby and Steve, we always knew we were in great hands, we never felt pressured during the whole experience.In our opinion, this was the best furniture experience of all the stores in the Fredericton area.We will definitely be returning with future business.Thanks Abby and Steve!
We had a great experience at Hotchkiss! We were greeted when we came in the store, offered a bottle of water then left to explore on our own. The sales associate Abby checked in to answer our questions but never made us feel pressured into buying. She offered us a deal without us even asking and remembered us when we returned the next day to make a purchase. We will definitely return to Hotchkiss for future furniture purchases!
