Great location, excellent breakfast, attentive hosts. The building itself could stand a little maintenance... We realize these old houses are costly to keep up. Hopefully a large portion of the room rate will go into improvements over the off season... Window cleaning/painting, linens, etc. There are signs this kind of work is happening, rungs on the front porch are new, so that's a good indicator.Nice atmosphere, just not quite a 5 .
The Carriage House Inn has a very distinct 1900 Victorian decor. The atmosphere is very relaxed and homey. The Staff showed us the entire house, the Ballroom and the bedrooms. We were impressed with the place and we have decided to make it our wedding venue.. Awesome!!!! Thank you! M & A
Rooms were nice, breakfast was good! The location is great. Walking distance to downtown.
Beautiful building, on a quiet street.It was clean, with friendly staff that went above & beyond expectations. The building was like walking through a museum, full of art & antiques.On the top floor there's a small library with 2 skylights for your enjoyment. There's a few books even written by local authors. The room was a decent size with a comfortable mattress. Would highly recommend this over a hotel, any day.
Stayed overnight to run in the morning. The building was nice, there was off-street parking, the room was clean and the owners were very nice.
